1. What is NATURE'S MIST®/Out of Oregon™ spring water?
NATURE'S MIST® is a pure, 100% natural spring water from Oregon. The water contains a rare, slightly acidic pH analysis demonstrated to beneficially absorb into the skin when applied the complexion as a fine mist. NATURE'S MIST® enhances all other skin care products and beauty products and restores faded cosmetics colors and make-up all day long.

2. How does NATURE'S MIST® spring water restore cosmetic colors?
Cosmetics, make-up, skin care products and beauty products are formulated to have a pH balance compatible with your skin's natural pH. Almost all cosmetic products are beneficial to the complexion as moisture sealers to slow water loss from the skin. Tap water used to cleanse the skin, before the products are applied, usually has an incompatible pH and contains dehydrating minerals which form a film between the skin and the cosmetic products. The result is skin dehydration, which increases as the skin care product dries out. 3. Can NATURE'S MIST® spring water lessen the appearance of aging?

4. What does "pH" mean?
The NATURE'S MIST® Founder has committed her company not only to good skin care and proper moisturizing, but to skin care education. To understand your skin, and formulated products put on your skin, an understanding of pH is essential. "pH" is a mathematical symbol indicating acidity/alkalinity. pH levels below 7.00 are increasingly acid while pH levels above 7.00 are increasingly alkaline. The slightly acidic pH (5.5 to 6.5) of your skin's surface forms a protective barrier against bacteria and other harmful substances. That's why maintaining the correct pH in your skin is important for the health and beauty of your complexion. Skin care products, cosmetics and beauty products by law, are required to be pH-compatible with human skin. However, many substances, including most tap water, can upset the skin's natural pH balance.
5. Why does NATURE'S MIST® contain only water?

6. How can I avoid jet-lag and other dehydration symptoms during airline flights?
Because the onboard humidity of modern jetliners may be as low as 5%, passengers may experience dehydration symptoms. Low cabin humidity is a primary cause of jet lag. The NATURE'S MIST® Founder advises the following during airline travel to increase comfort and reduce the symptoms of jet lag:

7. How does NATURE'S MIST® differ from other water?

8. Why can't I just use tap water on my face?
Most tap waters contain heavy minerals and chemical purifiers, with a pH in the alkaline range. Softeners lower the alkalinity but do not neutralize it. While alkaline water is fine for drinking, an alkaline pH can upset your skin's acid mantle barrier that protects you from harmful bacteria. Tap water can also leave a drying residue that interferes with skin functioning and with topical skin care products. The pH of NATURE'S MIST® spring water is a beneficial 6.5. 9. How does NATURE'S MIST® differ from cream moisturizers?
Cream and lotion "moisturizers," while important in skin care, do not add water to your skin. Their purpose is to seal in existing moisture. These skin care and beauty products are beneficial after NATURE'S MIST® spring water has replenished your skin's natural moisture.
10. Will NATURE'S MIST® work with the skin care products I now use?
There are countless beauty and skin care products on the market because, like fingerprints, no two people's skin is alike. 12. How should I use NATURE'S MIST® Spring water on a daily basis?
  • Follow the NATURE'S MIST® Six-Step Cleansing Process™ :
    1. Apply NATURE'S MIST® to face, eyes, hair and hands.
    2. Cleanse.
    3. Rinse thoroughly.
    4. Check your skin.

15. Are there other skin water mists?
Other water mists claim only to "refresh", not moisturize. Their benefit is to cool you as the water evaporates.
